OUR MISSION
Our mission is to support, guide, and inspire women in the legal profession by connecting them with experienced mentors. Our unique program is designed to foster meaningful relationships that empower women to excel in their legal careers. Together, we can break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and build a more inclusive legal profession.
WLIB was founded in 1976 as a means of supporting women attorneys. Since then, it has grown in numbers and strength, becoming a preeminent organization in Bergen County.
Our Vision is to empower women lawyers to achieve their full potential by providing access to mentorship, resources, and a supportive network.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
This mentorship program is unique in its hands-on, personalized touch. Instead of randomly connecting mentees to mentors, each application is carefully reviewed, and the applicant is connected with a WLIB mentor who is specifically tailored to their needs and future career plans. Mentorship positions are always open; there is no deadline.
